An intricate blend of nature’s bounty and subtle human creation, Bageecha is the Indian Dining terrace restaurant of Novotel Mumbai Juhu Beach. The poolside restaurant overlooking the magnificent Arabian Sea offers alfresco dining serves flavorsome cuisines of the Royal Kitchens of India.
Bageecha is not just a restaurant – it is a celebration of aesthetic expression and appreciation, a seamless dialogue between the creations of man and nature that invites interaction and exploration.
Operational for 6 months in a year Bageecha comes across as a welcome breath of fresh air and serene tranquility. The specially designed menu tantalizes the Indian taste buds with its appetizing food.
Coming to Food and Beverages-
Gucchi Ki Galawat – A Mushroom patty cooked in ghee. It was soft and flavourful, loved the texture of it.
Hare Mutter Ki Shikampuri– A green pea patty stuffed with cheese and slow cooked in griddle. The patty was crusty outside and moist inside, the cheesey twist to it was absolutely mind-blowing. Its a lost recipe by Chef Kailash which you surely cant afford to miss.
Bharwan Paneer Tikka– Cubes of fresh and soft malai paneer marinated in Chef’s secret spices. This tandoor cooked appetizer is a perfect go for the season.
Main Course included
Kadhai Subz Paneer- Cottage cheese cooked with peppers and tomatoes, spiced with Coriander and Chillies. This Indian dish is surely a treat to the palate.
Shahi Subz Kofte– Vegetable dumplings cooked in rich spinach gravy. The texture of the gravy was creamy and smooth, the kofta was stuffed with some dryfruits to give it a rich taste.
Daal Bageecha– Delicacy of whole lentil simmer overnight, finished with tomato and cream and tempered with desi ghee. Tastes best when served hot. A must try at Bageecha.
Lucknavi Subz Biryani –Fragrant assortment of garden fresh vegetables and basmati rice, flavored with Saffron. Masala of the biryani was a blast of flavours. The rice was beautifully tossed in the masala and serves in a matki.
Assorted Indian Breads– Naan, Roti, Paratha, Missi Roti, Kulcha, Chur Chur Naan, Sun-dried Tomato Roomali Roti.
Kulfi Falooda, Masala Chai Creme Brulee, Rasmalai, Zaunkh-E-Shahi, Gulab Jamun and Indian Flavoured Icecreams. The Kulfi Falooda and Paan Icecream is to die for.
