Diwali is a festival where you have to involve yourself in a lot of activities like cleaning, decorating, organising the house, preparing various delicacies, having guests over throughout the day, visiting family and friends!! Dont you think its a very tiring process? After the festival got over i was very keen on getting self a massage done. I heard about Kairali Ayurvedic from a family friend when i visited them. After listening to all the good things about the place i called them up and booked an appointment for myself. Since this place provides an extremely authentic Kerala style Body massage they have alot of people visiting them everyday, so its very difficult to get an appointment. After a lot of struggle i finally got an appointment.
Kairali Ayurvedic has 2 floors. 1st floor has a reception, a consultation room and a service room and second floor has 2 service rooms. I had booked an appointment for Abhyangam Massage which is a four hand full-body warm oil massage. It acts as a powerful recharger and rejuvenator of mind and body. Abhyanga — the ayurvedic oil massage — is an integral part recommended for healing system, overall health and well-being. Every person who provides massage here are from Kerala. They are well trained in Kerala to provide authentic Kerala style massage.
I visited Kairali on Thursday afternoon. The Spa looked fabulous. The massage was provided by 2 men, and thats the reason its called 4 hands massage as well. Then I was headed to 2nd floor to start with Abhyangam Massage. I changed my clothes and wore a disposable cloth.I had to lay down on a wooden bed.
Warm oil was poured on my body which was extremely relaxing and i felt so relaxed and composed.
The cordination between the 2 men while providing massage was so perfect. The oil they used was an ayurvedic oil that goes deep inside the body and relaxes all the muscles and tissues of a Human body. It was Head to Toe massage. They pressed certain points on my body which made me feel extremely relaxed and lite. After the massage got over, i had a steam session of 10 minutres. The steam helps loosen all the muscles in the body also removes impurities and excess oil from body, followed by a shower. After the Shower i came down to the reception where they served me Herbal tea and herbal water which was very refreshing.
My overall experience was fantastic. Thanks to Sharad and Anup for providing me such a fabulous massage and i am surely visting them again.
